Treatments

NMC
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) regulates nurses and midwives in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Regulation: the NMC set standards for Nurses and midwives to meet in their working lives, they also have a Code of Conduct to adhere to that states how they must work and behave.
The NMC keep a register of nurses and midwives in the U.K. it is illegal to work as a nurse or midwife without being on the NMC register. To get on and remain on the register a yearly fee is paid and they must prove that they fulfil requirements for keeping their skills and knowledge up to date
